Emergency Room provides first aid and medical treatment for any injuries to patients aged over 18 years:
- Weekdays (Mon-Fri): 8:00-17:00
- Saturdays: 8:00-14:00
- Sundays: CLOSED.
Consultations available from orthopaedic traumatologist Dr Edgars Ginevics at the Emergency Room of the Medicīnas centrs ARS on Saturdays from 8:30 to 14:00. The doctor specialises in foot and ankle joint injuries and orthopaedic surgeries and provides consultations on:
- acute injuries and treatment of consequences thereof,
- treatment on degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
First aid is provided at the Emergency Room of the ARS Medical Centre, if necessary, in case of various injuries: bone fractures, dislocations or other tissue damage. Patients may also seek help for wound care and dressing, in case of a dog bite, tick bite, or in other problem situations.
A Siemens Multix Impact system, the latest advanced digital X-ray machine equipped with two detectors, an integrated video camera for centred beam exposure which ensures excellent image quality, was purchased by ARS Medical Centre from manufacturer Siemens Healthcare and installed as part of diagnostic equipment upgrade activities in December 2023.
Xray exams, referrals for magnetic resonance (MRI), computed tomography (CT), ultrasound (US) scans and other patient exams are performed, if necessary.
