Puncture biopsies
We take ultrasound-guided puncture biopsies:
- Breast puncture biopsy (MD B.R. VAGULE)
- Prostate biopsy (MD K. IVANOVS)
- Thyroid biopsy (MD A. BALODIS)
Puncture during a visit is performed by a traumatologist – orthopaedist or by a specialist of the injury care centre. Here it is possible to perform:
- Joint punctures
- seroma, hygroma punctures
- hematoma punctures
Material obtained as a result of puncture is sent for cytological examination.
