For foreigners who need health certificate issued by a Latvian health care institution stating that the foreign national does not suffer from tuberculosis in active phase (upon receipt of an initial temporary residence permit or a temporary residence permit after an interruption exceeding 90 days), chest x-ray can be performed only after observing 10-day self-isolation.
